For me, assuming I was magnesium deficient, it seemed to work as a short term solution to raise my levels, however I did not like using the spray and have switched to oral Magnesium Glycinate. I was using 10 sprays 2 times per day for about a month. Initially, I put the spray on my calves and it felt like I had a mild sunburn all the time. So, I switched to putting it on my stomach and lower back. Sometimes I'd put it on my upper chest, upper arms, and thighs and that worked ok however, it caused me to sweat if I had skin to skin contact on the areas I sprayed (like when I crossed my legs.) I was also sensitive to friction on the areas where I used the spray. For instance when rolling over in bed the friction of the sheets would cause heat and some mild discomfort for about 10-20 seconds. Not often, but I occasionally had a terrible burning sensation shortly after application and had to wipe it off right away. Wiping it off with a wet facecloth made the burning stop almost immediately. At first I thought this was OK and maybe even good since some said it was a sign my body was Mg deficient, however the side effects never went away, even after a month of regular use so I'm a skeptic on that. I also didn't like the salty feeling on my skin after it dried and it was inconvenient to always have to wipe it off after giving it 20min or so to soak in.
