Black Cohosh (Cimicifuga Racemosa) is a perennial herb with a straight smooth stem and complex leaves; species of the genus Voronets of the family Ranunculaceae. It grows wild in moist deciduous forests in eastern North America. It blooms from June to September.The height of the flowering plant is on average about 1.5 m. The leaves are wide and long, green or dark green with a glossy sheen. The flowers are white, pubescent. The fruit is a dry leaflet with a length of 5-10 mm. In winter, the fruit remains on the shoot and, when the wind blows, makes a characteristic sound, similar to the noise of a pea rattle (hence one of the English names for the plant - rattle weed) Keep out of reach of children.
