Basic installation tipsTools to make installation even easier:ApplicationRemove your mural from its shipping tube. The mural comes with backing paper, which protects the adhesive. Keep this backing paper on and lay the wall graphic on a flat surface. This will allow the wall graphic to adjust to room temperature and ensure the best installation. Try not to let the adhesive backing come together, or let the material roll up against itself. If it does, slowly separate the two sides apart by dipping your fingers in some rubbing alcohol, then working them between the areas stuck. Gently pull apart. Once the alcohol evaporates, the adhesive will return to its original tack.Surfaces and Precautionary MeasuresIf you've recently painted your walls, please give the paint at least 30 days to fully cure prior to installing your mural. Bubbling or entire peeling of the mural may occur if the paint is still curing, due to chemical in the paint trying to evaporate -- which weakens the adhesive. It's also important to make sure drywall painted surfaces and repainted surfaces have been properly primed to prevent paint peel offs upon removal. Please understand that not all surfaces are equally strong, meaning some may find that paint may partially chip off when removing the wall decal. We strongly recommend that the material is stuck on a flat, smooth, clean and dry surface for best results. If you have a textured wall, it would help to work the mural into the pattern of you wall with a blow dryer on medium to high heat; until you can see the texture on the surface of the mural. This ensures that the mural's adhesive has full contact and support to the wall. Measure the area you plan to start installing. If your wall length or height is larger than the dimensions of the mural, it'll look best when there is an even distance between the edges of the wall and the start of your mural. We recommend using some masking tape or painters tape to hold down the first panel, to help you with alignment and positioning. The final 'flow' of your mural is entirely based on the proper installation of the first panel! Once you are satisfied with the placement of the first panel, begin removing the mural backing and cut off the excess backing paper. Begin applying the mural by pressing from the bottom up, to ensure a taut adhesion of the top area. Do not do any trimming until after the full and complete installation of all your panels. Remove tape as you pass them.
