Pet MD Benzoyl Peroxide Shampoo is a is a powerful cleansing and degreasing shampoo for the relief of scaling and itching associated with skin infection, seborrheic disorders, and follicular plugging on dogs and cats. The combination of benzoyl peroxide, micronized sulfur and salicylic acid allows for degreasing, follicular flushing, and enhanced keratolytic and keratoplastic activity. Pet MD Benzoyl Peroxide Shampoo is formulated in a citrus scented, soap-free, lathering shampoo base with skin moisturizers for gentle cleaning and deodorizing, while effectively removing scales and oils from the coat. Precautions: For topical use in dogs and cats. Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a veterinarian. MAY BLEACH COLORED FABRICS. Cautions: If undue skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDRENActive Ingredients: Benzoyl Peroxide 3%. Inactive Ingredients: Water, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, Sulfur, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Diethylhexyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate, Fragrance, Sodium Hydroxide.Directions for Use: Shake well before use. Wet the hair coat with warm water and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to create a rich lather. Massage shampoo into wet hair coat, lather freely. Rinse and repeat. Allow shampoo to remain on hair for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. May be used initially 2 to 3 times a week for 4 weeks, then reducing to once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian.
