The mild exfoliating action is complimented by the soothing, softening of organic honey and camellia seed oil. Essential oils of carrot seed, carrot root, rosewood, and geranium are all known for their restorative effects. Our fan-favorite soap, made with Black Australian clay and Dead Sea mud to balance and tone the skin. Organic almond, avocado, and castor bean oils condition the skin, leaving it soft and nourished. Coconut milk helps create the beautiful, white lather. This soap is safe to use if you have perioral dermatitis and is a soothing routine for acne-prone skin. French pink clay and white kaolin clay hydrate and heal the skin, and essential oils of geranium and palmarosa give a rose-like scent. Coconut milk makes a creamy, gentle lather, while wild-harvested mango butter and cold-pressed, organic avocado oil nurture sensitive and dry skin types. Wet face and hands, preferably with warm water. Create a nice lather by rubbing your hands together with the soap between your hands. Use your fingers to wash your face gently for 15-30 seconds. Give special attention to areas of congestion, like the sides of the nose, the hairline, and the chin. Rinse copiously with lukewarm water, pat dry with a towel. Follow with serum or moisturizer. TIP: Don't be fooled by the tiny size of this soap – this 2.25 oz. beauty will last 8-12 weeks, if cared for properly. Store in a dry place on a soap saver (or something like it). We combine organic plant oils and sodium hydroxide and stir them up with a mixer. The mixing causes the process of saponification to begin: molecules rearrange themselves in a soapy dance, and, over the course of about 72 hours, we are left with only soap molecules and glycerin. Soap molecules have a water-loving end and a grease-loving end, a structure that explains soap’s efficacy as a cleanser. The grease-loving end grabs onto oil and dirt on the skin as you lather up, and the water-loving end pulls the soap and dirt off your skin when you rinse away the bubbles.
