The new plastic spool is designed with a large hub to ensure a uniform winding of filament and cut outs on the sides to easily see how much filament is left. ABS Filaments resist higher temperatures and offer great machinability, flexibility and strength making it the preferred choice of engineers and professionals. ABS plastic can be vapour smoothed, dissolved and welded in our 434 Acetone making post processing easy. It is important to note that a heated bed printer is required to work with this type of material and because it is petroleum based it emits a slight odor when heated, making it less desirable for home use. It is recommended that this product be printed in a well ventilated area. ABS print temperature is 220 °C - 240 °C / 428 °F - 464 °F on a heated bed at 110 °C / 230 °F (These temperatures may vary between printers and colors).
