This GE Appliances Household Water Pre-Filtration System filters out chlorine taste and odor, sediment, sand and rust from household water to ensure clean water for laundry, showers, dishwashing and more. It connects to ¾ in. plumbing and features a 3-position bypass valve so you can change the filter without completely shutting off the home water supply. Filters your water at the main water supply and can be easily placed in your garage or basement. Heavy-duty, advanced filtration is certified to reduce chlorine taste and odor, scale, dirt, sediment, and rust in your water. Clear sump provides direct view of the filter so you can see when it needs to be replaced. Our kit includes ¾ in. plumbing connection, pressure relief valve, bypass option, mounting bracket and remote filter reminder light for simple installation and filter change. For best filtration results, filter should be replaced every 3 months. (Uses replacement filter FXWTC, FXUSC, FXWPC, or FXWSC—sold separately.) The GE Standard Flow Whole Home Filtration System reduces dirt, silt, sand and rust in your water, providing a clear sump to view filter soil level. Features a bypass option and red pressure-release button for drier filter change. Includes a magnetic filter reminder light, sump wrench and a mounting bracket for easy installation. Entire system NSF/ANSI certified and sized for 3/4" plumbing.
