Dissolve 1–3 cups of the magnesium flakes into a warm footbath or full tub bath. For intense applications dissolve up to 8 lbs of magnesium flakes in a full tub bath. Temperature of the water should be warm, but not hot (101–103°F (39°C)). Hot water causes the skin to eliminate rather than absorb. Soak for 20 minutes or more.
