We know the challenge – The swelling, pain, cramping, weakness in the fingers, hand, and wrist that can prevent the tight grip and pressure required to write with a standard pen or pencil. We thought about – Medical professionals often encouraging the use of larger muscle groups instead of the smaller finger, thumb, and hand muscles to help decrease pain and protect joints. We wanted to achieve - An ergonomic solution designed to decrease the frustration and discomfort felt when struggling to grip a pen. A design that addresses the challenge of muscle control, coordination, pressure and the repetitive motion required for writing.
