The standard incandescent light is the original trailer lighting design. The light is water resistant with standard gaskets but not meant to be submersed. Fits most light to medium duty trailers. Submersible trailer lights work off of the 'Bell Jar' Principle. Much like when you push an upside down drinking glass into water, the water only reaches partially up into the glass. This same principle keeps water from getting to the light bulb. Some lights also have a sealed capsule to further eliminate the chance for moisture and corrosion. All Blazer LED lights are waterproof. This is because the electronics and the housing and lens are permanently sealed. LED lights are long lasting and rugged. The price is higher but that is offset by the life and durability. The Blazer C6421 square submersible trailer light kit is designed to meet DOT requirements for trailers under 80" wide. This kit is not only ideal for boat trailers, but for any utility, camping, snowmobile and motorcycle trailers. These lights use the "Bell Jar Principle" preventing water from coming in contact with bulb or socket. Additionally, the lenses are sonically sealed which eliminates the need for gaskets that can dry rot and leak. The stop/tail/turn lights feature stud mount installation and are individually replaceable with model numbers C81 and C91. Kit includes (2) stop/tail/turn lights, a 20’ 4-way wire harness, corrosion resistant license plate bracket, mounting hardware and trilingual instructions- everything needed for easy installation.
