Spray directly into carburetor intake and venturi in short bursts until clean. Stop engine and let cool. Spray linkage and choke. Allow to dry and before restarting. Directions - Throttle Body: With engine off, disconnect air-intake boot at throttle body. Place rag under throttle body opening to collect any ran-off. Start engine. In short burst spray directly into throttle body to saturate varnish and carbon buildup on throttle plate and surrounding surfaces. Engine may need to be raced in order to avoid stalling. Turn off engine and reattach air-intake boot. Restart engine and allow to reach normal operating temperature. Directions - Other Uses: Use as starting fluid in hard-to-start gasoline engines. Do not use in diesel engines! For PCV valve with stuck piston, disconnect the PCV hose and spray into valve; then reconnect hose and start engine. Spray at base of heat risers, distribute shaft, lifters and valve guides for easy removal. Quickly dissolves gum, varnish, fuel residues, and other deposits from carburetor, PCV valve, automatic choke, carburetor linkage, throttle body, and distributor shaft with HEST for maximum performance and fuel economy. Improves drivability by removing deposits that cause rough idle, stalling, and loss of acceleration. Available in a variety of sizes to accommodate any job.
