To avoid excess fabric pilling (i.e. tiny lint balls) wash and dry in a full but not stuffed load. Wash your sheets in cold water on the gentle cycle. The gentle cycle is extremely important because this cycle uses less motion causing less friction. Add one cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle. Adding vinegar will allow the fiber to expand with less pilling, preserving the color, keeping them from fading and looking dingy over time. *If using a front loading machine, use the extra water setting. Tumble dry on warm or medium heat on a gentle setting or remove sheets from the dryer when sheets are slightly damp. Don’t use dryer sheets, this can cause undue friction that causes the flannel to pill over time. Stains: Always pretreat stains. We recommend Dawn dish soap. Generously apply it to stained area 5 or more minutes prior to washing. If you notice stains between the washer and dryer pretreat stain and wash again. Drying can set stains making them permanent. Washing: Machine wash in warm to avoid setting stains. use manufacturer's recommended amount of detergent or soap. Drying: Check for stains before drying.
