The K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat is an affordable heated cat bed with a dual thermostat heater buried beneath soft foam to make a comfortable napping place for cats. The surface temperature of the K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat will remain 10-15 degrees above ambient air temperature when not in use by the pet. The product is designed such that the surface will ONLY warm to full temperature when the pet is on the heated cat mat. As a simple test, you may place a pillow on top of the K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat - after about 15 minutes the under-side of the pillow should feel warm, but not hot. This is the warmth that your pet will feel when lying on the K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat. This heated cat bed is extremely versatile and can be used alone or placed on top of your cat's existing favorite cat bed to keep them warm. No matter where you place it, kitty will be thankful that you care enough to give them the very best in heated cat beds. TESTING INSTRUCTIONS: You'll notice that the K&H Heated Bed may not feel warm to the touch when your pet is not on the pad. THIS IS NORMAL! Our products are designed to only warm when your pet is lying in the bed. You can test the pad by placing a large pillow on top of the bed. After about 20 minutes, feel under the pillow. It will feel warm, not hot. If you feel warmth, the product is working as designed. For use with 110/120 volt electrical current only..
