Description

The most effective way to keep them off the face is to block them completely. A good fly mask protects against dust, dirt and debris. Horses recovering from an eye injury will especially benefit from wearing a mask. Your horse’s personal environment will influence your choice of repellents and help determine whether a spray, spot-on or wipe-on is best. In some cases, a combination will be helpful. To complete the No Fly Zone, your horse should be on a feed-through fly control product such as SimpliFly from Farnam. The active ingredients work in the horse’s manure, not the horse’s body itself. When it comes to fly control, horse owners have more options than ever before. However, there's no single solution that will completely banish every pest, it's just not that easy! In order to fight flies on all fronts we recommend using our three-stage approach to fly control, BLOCK - REPEL - REDUCE, which means using different products for specific scenarios. SuperMask II Horse Fly Mask with Shimmer Weave silver mesh and black plush trim is built to fit, built to last, built to stay on! Stablemates can't rip this stylish SuperMask off. Farnam's SuperMask horse fly mask keeps flies and other insect pests out. It also blocks dirt, dust, and debris from getting to and possibly damaging your horse's eyes. It provides maximum comfort and conforms to your horse's natural contours without obstructing vision. The carefully designed eye darts tent the mask safely around your horse's eyes. The comfortable, proven design stays in place thanks to the horse-proof Double Latch Closure which provides twice the staying power of other fly masks for horses. SuperMask is a smart choice for horse owners that are looking to prevent flies and other biting and nuisance insect pest from reaching their horse's face, whether indoors, outdoors, or when trailering their horse. Bugs don't fly with Farnam. Your Partner in Horse Care. Start with throat latch open. Grasp top of mask at ear and forelock opening and gently pull down over horse's ears. Reach under horse's neck and bring the right side of the throat latch over to meet the left side of the closure. The left side of the closure then folds back over to secure closure of the throat latch. Attach snugly, then check for comfort and safety. Adjust if necessary. Note: When removing, undo the throat latch gently. The ripping sound might startle your horse and make him jump. For Best Results: Remove mask nightly and check horse's face and eye condition. Rinse mask weekly. Check for trim periodically for trapped burrs or irritating foreign objects. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
