The SaltDogg TGS01B 8 Cubic Foot Tailgate Spreader is ideal for smaller scale commercial applications using #1 rock salt. The spreader can be hitch-mounted, step bumper-mounted, or mounted with the optional Wintergate Spreader Mount to allow for full bed access. The TGS01B works with 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1-ton trucks. It features a corrosion-resistant 8 cubic foot poly hopper. The spreader's 9 in. poly spinner can cast up to 30 feet. Its 1/2 HP, 12V motor is directly wired and is controlled by an included variable speed in-cab controller. It comes prewired for an optional vibrator kit (sold separately). The most cost-effective commercial grade spreader to maintain large commercial grounds. Attractive and rugged polymer black hopper and orange powder coated steel mounting frame to resist rust and corrosion. Capacity: 8 cubic feet/602 pounds #1 rock salt or similar material. Heavy-duty 12-volt spreader is housed in a seal motor chamber. Material flow and spreader and spreader width, from 3-foot to 30-foot are controlled from an in-cab electronic spreader control panel.
